A Letter from "Jungle Jack" Hanna

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Retreat at Sky Ridge, your home away from the bustle of everyday life, as well as the home of my good friends, Eric & Cindy Studer. I've worked with Eric for over 20 years, including making appearances with him on Good Morning America and Late Night with David Letterman.

Cindy founded Creekwaters Native Turtle Rescue & Rehab with Eric more than 10 years ago. They have actively supported domestic animal protection and wildlife conservation since they were kids. Eric even raised a cougar and donated it to the Columbus Zoo when he was 15!

Eric started working in hotels at the age of 14 and eventually worked for leading hotel brands like Holiday Inn, Hilton International, and Accor Hotels. He was responsible for the famous Motel 6 "We'll leave the light on for you" ad campaign featuring Tom Bodett for over twelve years. Between the two, they have over 40 years experience in the hospitality, wildlife/conservation management, and guest service businesses.

You've chosen a special place to reconnect with the wilderness, a place to renew yourself in the natural beauty of the Ozarks. Most importantly, you've chosen the best hosts I can think of when it comes to ensuring a memorable vacation.
